Zeitoun Comic Book Based On The Novel By Dave Eggers
From the perspective of Abdulrahman Zeitoun's children when imagining the heroic acts their father achieved during the 2005 hurricane, Katrina. Zeitoun used a little canoe bought at a yard sale to help rescue people and animals during the flooding of New Orleans.
He was eventually arrested on charges of looting which later proved to be false. After risking his own life to help the people of Louisiana, he was detained and labeled a terrorist by the xenophobic reactionaries following 9/11.
